Issue
Is it possible to invert an alarm that comes from a BACNET (or other) device via a Xenta 913?
The signal is normally closed and the alarm is active when the signal = 0.
Environment
Tac Vista 5.1.X with alarms that come from devices under a Xenta 913
Cause
Some devices have inverted (normally closed) alarm signal. Vista's default is that a signal is normally open.
Resolution
To invert the alarm signal go to the properties dialogue for the Change of State object and then the alarm tab. Change the Low limit to 0.5 and the high limit to -0.5.
