Cause
The IC GEN OPC does not support OPC XML-DA and only supports OPC DA.
Resolution
A third party gateway produced by Advosol enables the IC GEN OPC DA client to access third party OPC XML - DA servers. Click here for details.
The IC GEN OPC gateway.txt will still need to reference the third party OPC XML-DA server for example;
Item0=4^ IndigoVision^ 192.168.246.95^ Fromlv.analysis.motionalarm1^ 0
Where 'IndigoVision' is a OPC XML-DA third party server.
