Cause
Reader tamper trouble inputs are not configured to log events by default.
Resolution
Reader tamper transitions can be logged as events by configuring the associated Reader Tamper Input.
- Browse to Trouble Inputs | Areas and Input Types.
- Assign an Area with an Input Type (suggest 24 HOUR Alarm or similar).
- When the reader is removed a Trouble Input <$$$$> Reader 1 Tamper / Missing (##) Opened event will occur two minutes later.
- When the reader is connected again the Trouble Input <$$$$> Reader 1 Tamper / Missing (##) Closed event will occur immediately.
