Issue
Site using 12VDC to power ACX5740s, they need to attach IO expansion modules to the ACX but the XP modules specify they require 24VDC.

The ACX57xx hardware has been designed to maintain 24VDC on the expansion port over the full 12-28VDC input range of the ACX, this is accomplished via a boost/buck converter circuit in the hardware.
