Issue
READ is a Script programming system function that reads trend data from a trend log into a Script program. If there is an External Logs Storage configured, is it possible to access trend log records from the External Log Storage?

Cause
READ Script function doesn't return same number of records as trend log list or chart.
Resolution
The Script READ (for Trend Logs) system function can only read from the server's internal database and doesn't access records stored in the External Log Storage. For more information, refer to: Trend Log Access Functions.
