Building Commission (EBC) self closes at Login screen in Windows. It seems to be after application is unused for an extended period of time.

Cause

There is a fault in Microsoft.ui.xaml.dll as observed in the Windows Event Viewer.

Resolution

Uninstall the application via Windows Add or Remove Programs
Reinstall the application via the Microsoft Store
1. Open this link in a browser Building Commission - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
2. Click Open in Store App button in upper right by sign-in
