Issue
After installing Vista successfully, Vista Server starts, but an error message occurs when starting Vista Workstation:
Application Error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Environment
- Vista Workstation
- Windows XP Professional (tested with)
Cause
Some other software or driver installed on the computer caused Microsoft .NET Framework error.
Resolution
- Download an IExpress setup file named dotnetfx from Microsoft website and install the file.
- Restart the computer and reinstall TAC Vista Server and Workstation, the issue should be solved.
