I/NET site using Xenta
Cause
getting generic serial number station name using 527/913 Hostname in I/NET
Resolution
The Xenta 527/913 will show up in the Station Summary report in I/NET, but if you have not configured it correctly it will show up with a generic serial number station name. To define this name you need to specify the hostname of the Xenta controller.
This can be done with the setip command with HyperTerminal or via the Web Page in the Configuration\Network\TCP/IP page. Once you have changed this setting you will need to reboot your Xenta controller for the change to take effect.
