User Account on DCE

Hello all,

I'm trying to create a viewer account on DCE version 8.0.0, and it didn't work on DCE desktop client. the viewer account only works on DCE web client. The customer wants to access DCE by both means. Moreover, I tried to create a viewer account on ITA and it did work on both the desktop/web clients. although, I tried to change the user group and checked the user group membership, and I'm pretty sure that all the steps are going correctly.
