Many times when I answer to questions I am pasting links to other forums/places (e.g. links to training forum which contains a lot of learning videos).
Users are coming back saying they can't access the links.
How can I check the user access level, so that I can give them a working link?

@Ted_Allan_CM3 and @Adrian_Dicea as an additional comment on access rights for Exchange Communities, all Exchange users have access to the Knowledge Base, and the following "open" Communities: Exchange Community News & Support | Power Distribution Excellence | Industy Automation & Control. So you can reference any conversations or articles from these Communities to anyone without any user experience issues.
All over Communities are by and large restricted to our EcoXperts Master or Certified or Priviledged Users - there should be a logo that signals EcoXperts certification on their profile name. For Power Monitoring Expert specifically, I will let @Matt_Curry provide a more specific answer.

Hi Ted,
Sorry, I don't follow this part of the forum and I just found your reply.
@Ted_Allan_CM3 I am still not able to see that info.
I am asking Matt Curry, he's admin on Power Management Systems section, so if he can see that, it means it's an access rights issue.
Regards,
Adrian

@Ted_Allan_CM3 Ted, this is a role based feature. You need to be part of a role which has access rights.
I do not have currently access to see the users which can access some forum.
