TM221 PLC - How to use the internal clcock

God Morning,

I am an individual professional, with a degree in electronic engineering. I'm doing an automation project for an industrial equipment. I need to use the internal clock of the TM221C24R PLC so that the program decides if the system was turned off due to a power cut in the network or if it was intentionally turned off by the operator.
I was thinking about setting a minimum time for a power cut of 3 minutes. If the cut is longer than 3 minutes, it would be an intentional cut by the operator.
How can I invoke the hh:mm built-in variables to establish an IF-Then-Else condition?

Someone can help me?
Thanks

José Cardoso

Hi JCardoso

Try analyse the system word from %SW48 to %SW58.

To store de variables you need choose the retain variable on configuration.

Regards

Hi VARFIC

I will try your suggestion. It seems that will solve my problem. I had forgotten the retain variables.
As soon as I get a solution, I'll let you know.
Thank you very much.
