After all, a smart Building is a building for which:

• As an owner you clearly specify the expected functionalities and performance
• and that you can then later manage according to these specification

The PLM is the way to store - exchange and use all these information along the Design - Build and operate cycle of a Building ... like it is the case for industrial products
