Residental Solar - XW Pro 6848 InsightHome Setup Info

Hi,

Just installed a Schneider XWPro6848 Inverter and a MPPT 100A Charger for my residential home. Trying to find the basic setup parameters for the system using the Insight Home Software Router Package.

Does anyone know where I can find setup info for the Insight Home System.

Just as a follow up, I know a lot of info is in the manual itself.

However, the actual recommended settings for various set up pages in the InsightHome Software are not discussed or shown at all in the manuals.

Plus some conflicting info as well...

In the XW Pro 6848 Owner's Guide - pg. 75 middle it says: For Grid Support to function, Grid Support must be enabled on the Setup menu and the battery voltage must be above the Grid Support Setting.

BUT, on page 77 top it states: Grid Support Volts is set above the charge controller's Equalization voltage (for example, 64 volts)

After several variations, I could only get it to sell when I had the battery Grid Support Setting voltage set at 50 - lower than actual voltage???

Also, the Sell Mode Page has no info anywhere as to what the parameters should be or recommended.....

I am not to certain with the newer XP Pro 6848 inverters. 

I would recommend referring to the specific owners manual and technical publications sections found on the SESOLAR website

As noted i am not familiar with the XP Pro 6848 inverters but for the older XW+ 6848 

which for typical on-grid installation would have been set up for enhanced grid support and load shedding/shifting 

there were application notes on these however as the inverters/firmware etc are different it would be best recommended that you contact the SESOLAR support team - you can either call or fill in online webform

If you are based in Australia i recommend you get hold of Vinodh Kumar who is the application engineer and should be able to further assist with configuration queries.
