PDU AP8681 slow response by SNMP

Hello,

We have several PDUs AP8681 in different locations which are monitored over snmp_exporter. They are polled every 60 sec. From time to time SNMP doesn't respond within the defined timeout of 60 sec. Sometimes some of OIDs respond slowly, sometimes they respond fine (response time < timeout). Normally it takes up to 40-50 sec to have all OIDs collected.

I'd like to stress we don't have any other monitoring tools which could collect data from the devices. So, snmp_exporter is a single point of data collection.

Is there any reason why PDUs sometimes responds slowly?

Fixed by changing method encryption from AES to DES. SNMP reply is much faster now
