Layout Fast - How to Connect Meter Center to Switchboard and Bus in Revit Electrical Connections
In Layout Fast, I am trying to create an electrical connection in Revit between the Switchboard, then using a 4000A bus to the meter center on each floor of a high rise building I have, with each load center in each dwelling unit. Each dwelling unit meter is connected to a main.
I have the 4000A 120/208V 3 phase switchboard. This then connects with a 4000A busduct to the meter center. The Meter Center is a 3 phase. The Load Centers are Single Phase 120/208V. Revit only knows how to show Single Phase as 120/240V Load Centers. How does everyone connect the entire Electrical Distribution System up? I would like to have the full Electrical Distribution for the Residential Units in my model.
Has anyone found a way to connect the entire system together. The Load Centers are Single Phase and the Meter Center is 3 phase, so I have not found a way to connect the Meter Centers to the Load Centers and get them to connect on the circuit, since they are the same Voltage, but technically in Revit they are not part of the same distribution and voltage. I hope I am being clear in what the issue is. I can show a screenshot of Revit of what the Distribution system looks like. I can connect up the Meter Center to the switchboard fine, but the Meter Center to the Load Center does not connect up.
Thanks to anyone that has any information on this.
