Communicate with instruments via SCPI commands
I have a system that uses different Signal Generators from different manufacturers (R&S, HP, Rigol...) The way I'm currently interfacing this devices is via SCPI text-based commands via Ethernet. To accomplish this I'm using VISA drivers installed in a computer running Windows.
Now, I would like to industrialize the system and get rid of the computer. I don't think I need a whole PC with a full Operating system to just send some very basic commands.
Instead I would like something like an industrial HMI where I can make a GUI. This HMI will have a Start Button that should then send SCPI commands to the Devices in the Network to configure them or to read back some data from them.
However I could not find any information about using Schneider modules to communicate to such devices via SCPI commands.
Is there an industrial module that I can use for this purpose so I can get rid of the PC?
