Hi @sinced

Can you confirm what Plant SCADA version you are using? Do you have any patches installed?

For my fellow English speakers, this is the error:

"Failure to save

The registration of equipment type failed. Consult the event history for more details."

I'd recommend installing latest patch available for your version (July 2025 Patch is the latest for Plant SCADA 2023 and 2023 R2).

Could you try the same action (saving new Equipment Type) in the Example or ExampleSA project?

Also check the Program Data \ Plant SCADA Log folder for any information contained in the equipment log.

Let me know what new information you find.

Kind regards

Olivier

The issue is the version of the product. Project was created with 2023 R2 and I was trying to modify it from 2023. Thank you Olivier for your response.
