AVEVA Plant SCADA 2023 has officially been released.
However, a NEW Soft License methodology has been adopted in line with all AVEVA Products.
This is done using the AVEVA Enterprise License (AEL) Manager Guide.

We developed an application with aveva plant scada 2020 r2 version 8.30. This program will run in runtime mode on the client's computer. What license should I request for this type of application? Is it necessary to have a server license or would a "view only" license meet the needs?

If the Application has any server functions, then it needs a Full License. NOTE: IO Counts is required, but may be on the expensive side. Otherwise, if its Read Only, then the View Only Client License is recommended.
