ups keeps running in battery power

i have a apc back-ups 600 and when there s a fluctuation it switches to battery mode and keeps beeping when the fluctuation settles the ups stays in battery mode till it switches off even after trying to unplug and plugging it back to the main this happens what should i do??

Hi Mani,

Were you able to measure the incoming voltage that is being fed into the UPS after the fluctuation? Also, when the fluctuation was over have you ever attempted turning the UPS off and on again? How about the frequency distortion? Are we sure that a good frequency is being fed as well?
