APC Back-UPS BN1500M2 1500VA/900 WATTS
Errors are as follows:
"PowerChute System Tray Power Icon"
Unable to communicate with your battery backup.
Please check that the USB cable between your battery backup and PC is properly connected.
"PowerChute System Tray Power Icon"
No battery backup present.
Please check that the USB cable between your battery backup and PC is properly connected.
I should add every time I turn on my computer after shutting down, I also receive a restart required message as well. I used the USB communication cable supplied and connected to specified data port on the Back-UPS to a USB port on my computer. Downloaded the "PowerChute Personal Edition."
I am running Windows 11 and only have my computer and monitor plugged into the UPS along with the supplied USB communication cable. Checked windows for updates and the UPS unit itself. Computer recognizes APC UPS unit however I am still unable to get error message to go away. It only goes away after restarting my computer every day.
Thank you kindly.
Disclaimer: I am an at home user and do not work for any company however, in order to create a profile on this webpage I had to apparently be involved in a business, so I made one up. My UPS is being used for a personal computer.
