Good day to all, is it okay to plug an extension to a UPS? I have purchased a UPS for the desktop, monitor, printer and telco router. Plugging the cords for desktop and monitor had no issues as they are the 3 prong cords. Issue is with the printer and router as the adapters are built in into the plug itself thus taking up the space of the outlet next to it. Now I am thinking of plugging an extension cord wherein I would connect these 2 devices. Checking google gave me conflicting answers.

If the device such as router / printer uses a large transformer block. You can use a short extension cord to mate the two together than connect directly to the UPS output plugs.
Keep in mind the extension (cord set) should use the same size (diameter / AWG) wire or larger to reduce any voltage drop.
