bx1000M turns off and won't stay on

Unit powers off intermittently. Usually, I can hit the power button and it comes on again. I do that now and it only stays on a few seconds and turns off again. the plug icon flashes while it is on and battery indicator is showing a full charge.

Provide the serial number and purchase date of the system. Download a copy of PCSS and connect the computer to the UPS.

 

Replicate the problem while the system is being monitored by APC PCSS. Provide the following logs from the application: Event, Data, UPS, Diagnostics.

 

Under the tab where it shows the battery status and installation date show me a screen capture of the same.

 

Based only on the limited information it’s probably likely the (RBC) Replacement Battery Cartridge needs to be replaced.

 

The average service life is 2-5 years based on usage, temperature, environmental conditions.

 

The RBC is designed to sustain 260 cycles before signs of degradation subject to the same caveats as listed up above.

 

Your system takes a APC (RBC158) this is simply a 12 VDC 9.4 AH cell which you can purchase directly from APC:

You can also purchase the same high rate (HR)12 volt 9.4 AH CSB branded cell from anyone else cheaper! ☝️
