I used the Powerchute software to set the alarm option to Off, yet when the power goes off the alarm still sounds 4 chirps every ~60 seconds. How can I prevent the alarm from going off when the power goes out?

I don’t believe this model supports a permanent alarm shutoff. In the user manual (page 3) are the steps to *Quick Mute* the system and resets once the power outage ends.
You can enable the Quick Mute now and see how the unit behaves when you remove AC Mains from the unit.
Let us know how it turns out as I’m sure this information will help the next person asking the same!

The Quick Mute does work so thanks. One section of a manual mentions that only Supported Options will be displayed in the Admin tool, so I expected the Alarm Disable would work since it showed up. I guess that is why I did not look further to find the info on the Quick Mute option. Thanks again.
