Hello. I am setting up a small office in Chile, and bought an APC EasyUPS BV1000I-MS (1000 VA / 600 watts) at retailer, PCFactory in Santiago, Chile on Friday.
the Unit came boxed with type B power cord and Chile uses type L power outlets.
On P.2 the user manual says to plug the easy UPS directly into a wall outlet and shows a NEMA jumper cable for PC connection “*only for the model with Universal outlet.”
This language is unclear to me:
Is the buyer expected to have, or install a universal power outlet?
basically,
What are the setup instructions for this unit in Chile?
Can I replace the power cord with a type L power cord of the same specifications?
Does APC provide a type L power cord on request?
Thanks for your help.

I know this question is for Bill P but it seems this unit comes with the IEC to NEMA plugs
so you need an IEC C13 to a CEI 23-16 L type plug which I could not find on the APC web site so you may need to purchase it elsewhere
