Since day 1 that I purchased this item, the fan has run constantly. There was a thread on this before that was left unresolved and locked earlier. I wanted to see if anyone came to a resolution about this matter.

It seems that eventually the fan fails for a lot of people due to the constant running and eventually causes problemswith the unit. Any firmware updates or solutions recommended that do not void my warranty?
