My apc back-ups ES700 restarted or disconnected for no apparent reason on several occasions for several weeks. Power chute never showed any notice of disturbances in power supply and always indicates that the battery is at 98-100% capacity.

The last disconnection occurred while my computer was running and apc was turned off but showing erratic signs of turning on and off with random beeps.

What's going on?
