XS 900VA Start Problem

Just Purchased The XS 900VA, And Followed Instructions(Hooked-Up Battery, Charged For 21-24Hrs), I Plugged in A phone charger to Test it The Unit Comes On The Green Light is Blinking and the Orange Light is Solid, then the green light stops blinking after about 5 seconds and then it starts beeping every 30 seconds(Orange Light Remains Constant). ive also trieded turning it on with nothing connected and same problem.

There should be instructions in the manual to adjust the sensitivity via the front display.

You might wanna set it to low and try it, it could just be electrical noise keeping the UPS on battery.

If it's not in there:

1. Turn UPS off, keep plugged in
2. Depress power button for 10 seconds until all LED's flash
3. Release power button, and three LED's should be flashing
4. Press the power button twice so that 1 LED is flashing

You're now in low-sensitivty mode. If you leave the panel alone it will go out of configuration mode itself.

Now try to turn it back on.

The Problem Still Persist, No Matter What Sensitivity Mode i put it in it still dose Solid orange and blinking green, then green will stop blinking and orange will stay solid with beeps every 30 seconds.

Have you tried different outlets in your residence? Have you tried different outlets at a different location? If it comes on at some outlets and not at others, I would contact an electrician to see what the electrical noise levels are feeding that one outlet (or possibly circuit) that the UPS is on. If it's still within 30 days and not working ANYWHERE, I would recommend you can return it to the store.
