Will Back-UPS series work with household items?

I'd like to have a battery backup for my alarm clock. Can I use the Back-UPS series like the BE550G model or are they only ok for computer power supplies?

I have one in the bedroom hooked up to the clock radio, and an led lamp.
I disconected the buzzer so it will never beep and wake me up if the power goes off in the middle of the night.

hi,

they are ok for majority of non-motor type of things. an alarm clock will work just fine.
