I purchased the BN1250G from Sam's Club for my home computer (gaming computer) and I love it. The LCD is awesome, the unit is sleek and I really like the number of plug-ins (ten I think) that the unit has.
Here's my question:
I have the data uplink plugged into a USB port on my computer. My operating system (Win 7) recognized when I plugged it in and it immediately installed some drivers for it. However, what do I do now? Is there some software that I need to download that will allow my computer to see what is going on with APC unit?

Hello Tyson,
Windows 7 has it's own Native UPS support and if you would like to have full control of the APC unit we recommend that you install the APC PowerChute Personal Edition. Since you are using Windows 7 you can download and install the latest PCPE 3.0. I have listed some helpful links below for you to know more about PCPE.
