I have a UPS 650R and I'm using it with a Sony Projector VPL-AW-15. The projector requires 275W consumption. Would this unit be enough to handle it? Everything was working fine for 6 months and now my projector's lamp won't turn on and the power to the projector will come on and then go back off. If I plug the projector directly into a standard outlet, the projector will work fine. Is there a way that I could check to make sure the 650R is working properly. I was using Power Chute Personal Ed. and it stated everything was ok. I wasn't able to do a self-test because there was no option for that. Any suggestions...Thanks! Also, it said it had 95% battery power. I have heard some on and off clicking the other day....but it's been pretty cold here.

The first thing i'd suggest is a pull plug test on the unit. Unplug your TV, plug a lamp into it and make sure it powers on. Then, unplug the unit from the wall and make sure the unit powers the lamp on battery.
