Hello,
Here is my problem. After I performed a self-test from PowerChute, my UPS switches to battery my PC turned off and never switch back again. Looking at this
point it looks like it stuck in there (in battery power). It was unable to switch back to AC power. I've tried switching it off but unfortunately it won't turn off even I've removed the plug from the AC outlet.
All I can see now is that the "On Battery" LED is lit. The "On Line" LED has no lights and I can't even turn off the UPS by pressing the power on switch and circuit breaker.
How can I turn this UPS on.
My UPS is APC Back-UPS CS 650 (BK650-AS)

Hello Techie,
Thanks for the response. It looks like that way but I doubt that the switch would be the problem (not sure thou). What I don't understand is why is my UPS go back online (no light on "On Line" LED) even if it still plugged in on my AC wall outlet. It looks like the UPS is using up the battery and been stuck in there.

Hi Henry,
The UPS will not work on AC unless the input power is normal. I would like to gather some more information to provide you assistance.
What is the input voltage is the UPS receiving from the wall outlet? Have you tried the UPS in different outlets? Is the UPS turning off? And also make sure that the circuit breaker of the unit is not tripped.

Hello Bala,
I've managed to make my UPS online again. I left it plugged in the AC outlet for long hours. Now here is what happening. PowerChute says that the backup battery is operating normally but the remaining battery charge drops from 100% to 94% (91% is the lowest) in the span of an hour. I'm curious though why is it that the backup battery is draining despite the UPS is on AC power and it was not using the battery. Isn't it too fast for an hour that the battery will drain way below 91%. Below is the status of my UPS as reported by PowerChute:
Electrical Power Is Being Supplied By: AC Utility Power
Remaining Battery Charge is: 94%
Battery is currently: Charging
Last Transfer to battery was caused by: None Recorded
Result of Last Manual Self-Test is: Not Recorded
Input Voltage: 242 volts
Your battery backup is currently providing 128 Watts of power. You can connect more equipment to your battery backup
Thanks again,

Hi Henry,
The Battery Charging which you referred is most likely related with the battery in the unit or the battery charger circuit. If your unit is under warranty, I recommend you to call in the regional customer care center to proceed further on this issue.

Hello Bala,
Thanks for your help. Too bad my unit is already out of warranty. Perhaps I'll just bring this to the nearest service center. Anyhow, thanks again for your help
