UTS6 versus UTS6H
I have a Honda EU2000iA and the EU2000iA companion. I want to use the two together if the power goes out. The Honda website says to get the UTS model number UTS6H. APC says they don't have that - and suggested the UTS6. Is that a problem? Or do I need the UTS6H model? I'm not an electrician - I'm trying to get all the parts ahead of time for the electrician. APC also says there is no accompanying 25 foot cable that Honda lists (part number 06582-103-025AH).

hello,
you should use the UTS6H because your generator is 120v. the UTS6H does not require 240v input (basically 2 of the 120v circuits) in order to power up like the UTS6 does.
