In addition to delaying/shedding loads to prevent generator overload, does the UTS (240v series) also have the ability to control circuits to attempt to maintain or optimize a balance between phases?

Thanks very much, that is an excellent feature that is built into the UTS!

Thanks, also have a followup question somewhat related -
I was planning on using a UTS 10bi in conjunction with a honda eu6500. The initial circuit load plan indicates that the max load would be 8000 watts fairly evenly distributed across each phase. This should not be a problem since certain loads can be managed thru ALM so that the overall load remains below the 30 min max of 6500w.
My concern is that a situation could arise in which all circuits on 1 phase only could be loaded simultaneously. The overall demand would be below the max capacity of 6500w identified for the gen in the setup, however the load on that phase could get beyond the gen's individual phase capacity of 3250w. Does the UTS 10bi load shed according to overall load across both phases or does it look at each phase individually? Thanks.

I checked on this. In theory, the UTS will monitor across both phases for overload, however it will also monitor each individual phase.
If you were to tell the UTS there is a 5k generator attached, the UTS should monitor each phase ensuring they do not exceed 2500w, as well as a combination between.
