UPS clicking on and off

I have two XS 900's and an XS 800 which are all exhibiting this odd behavior now. One of the XS 900's has all the media equipment plugged in (the HD TV and the cable and the home theater system). The other XS 900 is in the office with my husband's computer system plugged into it. I did have the XS 800 on the media but was hoping by swapping it for the other 900 to cure the problem. I didn't.

Currently the 800 is turned off and put up.

We just moved into our house this month. Prior to the move, none of the UPS were having this issue. Now they all do. The 350 brick that my laptop is plugged into is not having an issue.

Problem, they click on and off at random intervals...going from a green status light to a yellow one and then back to green. And I know when the one in the office does it cause the computer tells me that power was temporarily interrupted. It doesn't seem to affect the media by making it flicker on and off...just the annoying clicking of the UPS.

Could turning them off and moving them have caused this odd behavior. NONE of them did this prior to the move.

I have googled this to no avail. The clicking is about to make me nuts (short trip right now).

Any ideas?

Oh, and none of them are over 2 years old. One of them is right at 2, one is about 18 months old, and the other about a year old.

Liz

I have a Back-UPS 600 that just started doing the same thing. After it shut my computer down AGAIN this morning, I  ordered a new one (another brand), plugged into a different surge suppressor, and now I can't get my computer to boot. Thanks, APC, your wonky UPS has now killed my computer.
