I was wondering if it would be feasible to add a voltage regulator like the Line-R products between a non sine wave UPS and the power supply of a PC. It seems that this would be cost effective if one could not afford a sine wave UPS. Like me. 🙂

No. An AVR between the UPS and the PSU will detect the approximated sinewave as a wave distortion and will try to unnecessarily regulate the output voltage coming out the UPS. The AVR would start switching it's internal relays like crazy making a lot of clicking noises and intruducing more distortion to an already distorted wave.
