I bought a SURTA3000XL UPS on ebay to give me back up power for a home server and home security system. The first one I got came smashed up because it was not packed right. The second one I bought was never used but had been sitting around for quite a while. After changing out the batteries all was well.
I have been using the UPS for about 4 months running about 800 watt of load on it. The other day my network went down and when I went out to check the UPS was dead. First I figured loose connection on a battery or something stupid. Checked all the power and batteries and all is ok.
Pulled the cover nothing obviously smoked. I started checking fuses and found F705 blown. I have looked all over for a schematic of the unit with no luck. If the thing was not so big and heavy maybe I would just send it out for repair.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
