Can anyone offer any advice. We have an enterprise with over 100 UPS's at many sites, all configured to send emails for every test, problem, etc. If there any single instance software we could install on a server to monitor all the UPS's and filter out the useful problems from the mundane.
It's got to the point now we are struggling to tell real problem from non issues.
We don't want to have to reconfigure all the UPS's unless we have too, or at least minimise config.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Brian.

you probably will want to look at something like [ISX central|http://www.apc.com/products/family/index.cfm?id=350] for centralized monitoring/configuration/notification. alternatively, we have a few tools that could help you mass configure and fix those notifications if you didnt want to buy ISX central once you configure the items that you care about and dont care about. we could also set delays and repeats to something that makes a little more sense to you and your situation, rather than the default of every 2 minutes until the condition clears. here is a link to the INI utility -> http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8979
the ini utility helps you use the configuration file each network management card has, assuming these are UPSs. i also recently threw this together but it might be easier to configure card via the web UI as far as the notifications you want and then copy that file across multiple units. [INI syntax help|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11380]
let me know what you think.
