We have the UPS set to run its internal checks every 14 days. Last month, after the check said it passed, we started getting the error
This happened over a weekend, so come Monday morning, just before we went to look at it, we had a power blip which killed all the servers and storage running through the UPS. Once the UPS rebooted, the error had cleared.
14 days later, it ran the test again, and the same error has occured. Anyone have any ideas or contact information for support in the UK?

How old is this battery cartridge keeping in mind they are rated to last 3-5 years. Service life depends a lot on the temperature and environment the unit is operating in. Along with how many times the UPS is called to duty to supply backup power.
Depending upon the type of cells inside they have 260 - 400 cycle life. Temperatures that sustain 10'C above 25'C threshold will offer half the service life. Meaning if the maximum is 3 years they will offer 1.5 years of service. Five years would be 2.5 years of service life if the ambient temperature is 35'C and above.
You can determine the production date of the battery cartridge by reading off the white sticker that is affixed to the front of the battery cartridge.
