When I first switch ON my Back-UPS BR1000G, I wait until it completes it's Battery Load test before switching ON my computer. My Monitor comes ON right after the Battery Load test, but only remains ON for several seconds before it goes OFF again. I have to assume that if I do not switch ON my computer before then, this would be a normal occurance. Is that correct? I have my Back UPS set up in that the computer controls the other Battery only receptecles when powered ON or OFF.

Hello Gilloz,
Good day. If the UPS master enable functionality is turned on, that is how it should work. The load on the controlled by master would only turn on once it has detected that the load on the master is drawing power.

Thanks JonPro for your response. I pretty much thought that that is what was happening. Is there any way I can manually adjust the time differential between the end of the Battery Load Test and the time it sequences out before switching ON the computer?
