Hi everyone, I've been Googling and searching here and looking at videos but I'm not getting an answer.
My company uses a Pro 1500. The battery was starting to die after all these years so we ordered a new one. I installed it last Friday (it's the newer, super easy to install battery). I thought it would need a weekend to charge up, but yesterday, I saw that the battery is flashing. The icons say that it's online, there's zero load (I took everything off it with the hopes it'll charge). When I go through the screens, there's 0W load, 0% load, 120v out, 60hz out., 119v in, 0 events, and 0 mins run time. The change battery icon isn't flashing, no other icons are lit.
We're in a Mac environment so I can't use Powerchute, as well, there's no USB cable for it.
Before I send the battery back, is there anything I should try?

Yes. You can try resetting the unit.
Disconnect it from all sources of power, including the battery. Then depress the power button for a few seconds. Reconnect the battery and restore power to the unit.
I have had a unit or two where doing that proved not to be enough. In those cases, indicating to the unit that its battery had been replaced solved the problem. As far as I'm aware, you would require the USB communication cable in order to do this. Powerchute would be the easiest way if there are any PCs running Windows available, as it presents a "replace battery" button that updates a flag within the UPS itself. If not, I believe apcupsd can also make this change, and it is available for Macintosh systems.
There is a slight possibility that the UPS itself has suffered a failure of some kind.
Someone affiliated with APC or Schneider Electric may have other ideas. I'm basically just an end user and do not represent either company in any way.

Aron,
Reset the Back-UPS
1: Disconnect any attached load.
2: Unplug the UPS from the wall socket.
3: Disconnect the UPS' internal battery.
4: Push and hold the "On" button on the UPS for 5 seconds
5: Reconnect internal battery.
6: Plug UPS in to known good power source.
7: Turn UPS on.
