Powerchute Uninstall from XP

I am trying to uninstall Powerchute version 2.0 from Windows Xp and it tells me it cannot uninstall due to disk space. As I have over 10 Gb of space empty I know this is not the issue. Can someone please help?

Have you tried rebooting your computer first? Also, have you tried uninstalling PowerChute in safe mode? What Service Pack of Windows XP are you running?
