how do you want to hook this up? H15 supports 1500VA maximum. the unit has a 15A plug but it is derated to 12A per national electrical code here in the US anyway. this is documented on the apc.com tech spec page and user's guide: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6Z7V8X_R0_EN.pdf, http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=H15BLK
