We have 2 PDU's that are 24A 200-240v. My question is, does this need to be plugged into a "2 pole" circuit?
I have a receptacle with is L6-30, and the breakers are 1 pole 120/240. Would this work with the PDU's? Or do I have to have a 2 pole circuit with these PDU's?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

It depends on where in the world you are. In the US, then yes, because 208/230v are provided phase to phase.
In Europe, no, because, 230v comes from phase-to-neutral from a 400Y230V system.

It's not an APC pdu, it was just a general power question. I got it answered from an electrician though. A 24amp 200/240v PDU does need to have an 2 pole 30A breaker.

Eric,
For us to better assist you, would it be possible for you to provide us with the model number of your PDU?
