Hi all,
My PCSS is login off and shutting down my PC few seconds after power outage.
The UPS is brand new, under 7 days old from use.
I'm using Win11 24H2 x64, fully updated (build 26100.4202).
UPS model: Back-UPS BX2200MI
Firmware: 378700G -001300G / 01.01a (1201 - 19)
PCSS version 1.3.0.301 (build 1.3.0-b43da2baa)
Fresh installed last PCSS version available too. I checked every setting on PCSS, and I even checked "Do not shut down in the event of a power outage."
I'm using power plan to "high performance" also under Windows. I cannot figure out why PCSS keeps shutting down my PC within seconds from power outage.
Thanks

Provide the following image capture or logs: Event, Data, UPS
What is the attached (wattage) load seen by the system?!? Disconnect the USB cable from the computer than remove AC Power from the UPS.
How does the unit behave and how long does it run for?

The logs I was asking about are from PCSS not Windows OS. Regardless, uninstall PCSS software and reboot the computer.
Install PCPE using this APC Resource link and report back how the system behaves once setup PCPE than remove AC power from the UPS.

Lastly, what does the system indicate as the wattage / load?!?

About the logs, I see. Just unstalled PCSS, and now I'm running the old PCPE, so far, is working perfectly. No sudden shutdown.
As for load, it stays around 12% in "standby", and the max I saw was around 40% (while gaming). I use an UPS meter gadget, so I can see it in near-realtime the status from UPS (attached image).

That’s great to hear and appreciate the quick response as to the results of using PCPE vs PCSS.
Please consider marking that reply as an interim solution so it may help others asking the same.
You may consider contacting APC Technical Support to see if they can help identify what the problem is with PCSS that is causing this issue.

That sounds more like a power save / energy management issue. Disable all power management for the system especially the USB ports.
Change the USB port the system is using to another and report back the results. Insure the cable is NOT going through a USB Hub.

Also, I never use USB hub for those devices, only my flash drive.
