Hi all
I have three APC Back-UPS RS 800. All of them are continuously beeping with overload light blinking. There is no load available on the UPS. I have tried all measures from documentation.
Lats time, I tried to disconnect battery when the UPS was online and when replace battery light lits, i reconnect the battery and then recharge the all night. Now battery is fully charged but the problem persists.
Please suggest a solution
Thanks in advance

What's you configuration like? Are you using power strips before and after the UPS or are they connected directly to the wall? Did you have any foul weather recently?

Have you tried using the PowerChute software with any of htese UPSs? Through PowerChute you may be able to see an alarm or status message from your UPS, and that may shed some light on what is happening. Beyond that, I would suggest calling APC support at 800-890-4272, and speaking to a support rep about your UPSs.

Did they ever sit around unused? If so, how long?

Flashing overload LED indicates an internal failure, not anything related to the current load on the UPS.
If the overload flashes after a cold start and when turned on normally, the UPS needs replacement.

Like JoeMomma said, it appears that the unit has an internal fault. It probably took a hit from a surge. Consider trading ups.

Yes, if the unit wanted to let you know of an overload, it would give a solid overload LED with constant tone.
A flashing overload LED is a code for internal fault (likely Relay Weld).
