I have a Back-UPS ES550 and the LED is constantly flashing Red, but there is no tone. I have just replaced the battery because I thought that might be the issue, but the behavior is the same.

The only thing I can find in the documentation is that it will flash Red (on the new, rounder shaped model) if it's in voltage configuration mode, but I don't think that has anything to do with what I'm seeing on this older model.

Can anyone tell me what the flashing Red LED means when there is no tone?
