Hi, I bought an APC Back-UPS BX1300G and noticed it did not have a "Quality Assurance Test" paper inside the box. I have purchased many APC units over the years and they always had a printed receipt listing a bunch of tests the hardware had passed. Should I be concerned that my current purchase didn't have this proof of testing in the box, or has APC stopped including that paper?
I should mention that the UPS was in a brand-new sealed box and purchased at a reliable retailer, Costco.

Thanks,

Hello,
Is APC still sending those "Quality Assurance Test" papers with their units?
I Bought recently a brand new SRV1KI Easy-UPS unit but it came without any test paper.

Yes, you should have received one. We have not stopped including them. I am told now they are no longer being taped to the units but found with the user documentation you received (either in a clear bag or not). Did you check through all of the pieces of paper you received with it versus just checking on the unit itself. Not sure where you looked based on what you said.
Either way, I can't say I'd be worried but I am not sure what you're looking for on there. No QA slip would not affect your warranty status if there was a problem or concern.

I looked everywhere, there was nothing amidst the packaging nor was it attached to the unit. My concern is if the QA paper wasn't in the box,
perhaps someone at the factory skipped testing this unit, or maybe they didn't include the slip since it failed a test and the unit accidentally got
shipped out rather than returned to the production line for re-working. While it may not affect my warranty status, obviously I'd like to ensure
I received a 100% quality-assured unit before hooking up my electronics...I suspect there is probably nothing wrong and the paper maybe just
blew off a table instead of getting packed, but of course one does wonder why it's missing when all previous purchases have included the
QA receipt, LOL.

I hear you. I will see if its possible to obtain a QA slip/readout for this unit. I will direct message you and I need the exact model and serial number of the unit off the white sticker on the back of it

Was this ever fixed and were you able to produce a copy of the QA slip/readout? I am having exactly the same issue. We ordered 34 UPS and 2 of the units didn't have the QA slip.

In case anyone comes across this thread like I did looking for the answer to this question......the answer is NO! They cannot help you. Getting a hold of the test paperwork that should have come with the unit is not possible, unfortunately. I also tried another customer service rep who was even less helpful and told me to "take it back to the store and get another one", which just wasn't possible. Oh well!!
