Hi -- My 5-week-old Back-Up Pro BR1500G has started generating replace battery warnings, both the flashing icon on the display panel and frequent reports to my NAS which forwards me the warnings it is receiving from the 1500. The charge indicator is at 100%. I purchased the unit from Amazon on 1/25/17; the serial number checker shows it was produced 10/16.
Is there something that can be "reset," or do I have a warranty issue to deal with already on this new unit?

Hi,
Sorry to hear of your inconvenience. You should run a self-test to test the battery. If it passes then the initial failure may have be an error. If it fails or fails again shortly after the test then you should contact technical support at 1-800-890-4272 and request a replacement battery.

Thank you for the very prompt response -- a reassuring sign. I will conduct the self-test when I return home this evening.
Would you please provide a link to (or a copy of) the user guide for this UPS? I have been searching all over the APC website with no luck.
