Need PowerChute software, APC's website directing me to wrong edition

Hello.

I have a BackUPS XS 1200 (home type model) and need a version of the personal edition PowerChute software compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I found the links on APC's site for it, but after navigating the login prompts and agreeing to the license, instead of getting a link for the personal edition I chose I get a link for "PowerChute Business Edition v8.0.1 for Windows Vista/2008/2003/XP/2000". Clearing cookies set by the site and restarting Firefox does not help. I would appreciate a direct link to the latest version, which I think is v2.2.

APC, why do you insist on making users go through multiple screens after choosing to download a piece of software? From the software's download page, I had to go through at least 2 or 3 more screens to get to what was the wrong download link. Please make the software a direct download!

Yes, I did receive the PM, but why send me the link that way instead of posting it for all to see?

Why does APC make their software downloads intentionally difficult to get to?

The problem with posting a link to a specific version here is that later on, someone may come across it and download an older version.

My wish list for apc.com includes:
1) Product pages for every product that always refers to the latest version.
2) Easy downloads without logging in. I especially dislike that bug where it keeps asking me to log in, even after I've logged in.
3) A single, easily search-able catalog of all APC products that can be drilled down across multiple dimensions. Sorta like digi-key.

Thanks for the help from both of you, it's appreciated.

In the future I would hope that APC would re-design their site to be a bit more searchable by multiple parameters (perhaps set up a Google Custom Search on it?) with an eye toward usability as well.
