Was trying to set up my fax machine today & discovered that my BR1500G BACK-UPS Pro does NOT have ports for a telephone line (in & out) so that the telephone line would be protected from surges.
Yes, I know I should have thought of that BEFORE I bought this UPS.
But, HOW can a UPS of that supposed quality NOT have available protection for a telephone line?
It has protection for an Ethernet Cable, so why not have protection for the telephone line also?

What I do NOT understand is how a UPS costing $165.00 does NOT already have that feature?

Hi Donald,
I am sorry that the BR1500G does not have have phone line protection that you desire. What I would recommend is using one of our PortectNet products along with the back-ups for that fax machine line. For example the PTEL2 linked below.
